My home is a ferrocrete fortress, like the average Mexican home.
I only had to board up one window, which is the only window in my home that faces wind and I haven't changed to acrylic.
The wind did rattle my windows, and the wind howled all night through my side alley, but that was perfectly expected.
Nonetheless, I couldn't fall asleep until somewhere between 5 and 6AM. All I know is that the sky was beginning to light up.

In Spanish, or at least here in Mexico, we have a saying that said "one bullet wound every trip". Well, for the last three groups, I lost a microwave oven with the first group, the fridge lost its gas with the second one, and a little after Hurricane Grace (I think), the third group comes in, and it turns out that one of the air conditioner units is tripping its circuit breaker.
